Over the past decade, Villela has designed custom pieces worn by global music artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Madonna, and Lady Gaga. In 2015, Villela was named Artistic Director of Adrienne Landau, where they led the brand through a complete transition to faux fur and reimagined its identity for a new generation of clients and collaborators. Outside the studio, they have shared their insight as a fashion commentator for People en Español, offering red carpet analysis for the Met Gala and other major cultural moments.
Villela’s work is driven by a commitment to authenticity, visual impact, and the power of fashion to tell personal and collective stories.
